In a city as vibrant and creative as Miami, it takes a unique blend of vision and grit to stand out. Enter Florencia Franceschetti  and Stephany Torres— two badass boss babes who have carved a niche in Miami with their boutique marketing firm, Raygun Agency. Together, they’ve built a firm that’s become a trusted partner for lifestyle brands, restaurants, artists, and anyone looking to drown out the "noise" and command attention. With roots in entertainment, hospitality, and a deep love for brand storytelling, Flor & Steph don’t just craft strategies—they bring brands to life.

I first met Steph back in 2010, when we were all starving artists living in Edgewater—back when Wynwood was full of art galleries, experimental spaces, and actual artists — not breweries, influencers, and overpriced boutiques and street tacos like it is today. Back then, she was the right-hand woman at Poplife, a staple in Miami’s music and nightlife scene, where she worked as their marketing manager and later as their production director. We became fast friends because we shared a million things in common, and she always made sure we never had to wait in line for the coolest Poplife (or Poplife-adjacent) events.

By the time Steph introduced me to Flor a few years later, Flor was already making waves as the founder and editor-in-chief of Too Much Love Magazine, a publication spotlighting Miami’s underground culture. She was also hosting her own show, Too Much Love Radio, on Jolt Radio, an independent Miami internet station, and writing for several music publications like the Miami New Times & Band Camp Daily. I mean, Flor has interviewed dozens of artists, including such music icons as Yoko Ono, Debbie Harry (Blondie), Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order), Lol Tolhurst (The Cure), and Patti Smith for god’s sake! She’s a hero and a total legend in my book.

So when I heard Flor & Steph were teaming up to develop Raygun Agency — whose mission is to help creative businesses improve their branding, exposure, and revenue — I knew I had to photograph them for their personal branding photography.

They were my favorite kind of client — confident, creative, and deeply rooted in Miami’s culture. They knew exactly who they were, what their brand stood for, and trusted me to translate that visually.

The VISION AND THE PROCESS

When we started planning this shoot, it was clear that Flor & Steph didn’t just want “professional photos” — they wanted images that felt like Raygun. We brainstormed ideas and mood boards, throwing words around like confident, bold, collaborative, and effortlessly cool. The goal was to distill the essence of their agency: a seamless blend of high-level strategy, creative edge, and unapologetic personality.

For the locations, we chose spaces that felt urban, modern, and distinctly Miami. The kind of backdrops that made Flor & Steph feel at home. It wasn’t just about creating a pretty picture; it was about setting a tone that matched their work and spirit. As a Miami branding photographer, I wanted to create images that felt authentic and edgy, a true reflection of their creative powerhouse energy.

The visual approach combined posed shots with candid, in-the-moment frames. We wanted to capture their natural dynamic: how they move together, how they laugh between takes, and how their energy bounces off each other. We ended up with a series of images that radiate confidence and empowerment, with a unique style that’s all their own.

The photos aren’t just about looking polished — they’re about showing how Flor & Steph show up for their clients. Strong. Collaborative. Full of personality and purpose. The shoot was a chance to tell their story, while giving a behind-the-scenes look at their uncompromising, authentic approach.

highlights from the shoot: narrative flow

Every final frame from this shoot tells a story. It’s not just about the poses or locations — it’s about the energy between Flor & Steph and the unapologetic confidence that defines Raygun. There’s a shot of them together side by side, Steph on the chair, Flor standing straight and boldly behind her, they’re gazing directly into the camera — it’s confidence personified.  It conveys, “We’re here. We’re ready. And we know exactly what we’re doing.” That’s not just a photo; it’s a visual mission statement.

Then there’s the interplay between their personalities. Flor exudes a magnetic, editorial flair — sharp angles, a spark in her eyes, the quiet confidence of someone who’s spent years capturing and telling other people’s stories. Steph, meanwhile, balances that with a grounded, behind-the-scenes brilliance. She’s got a natural ease about her, a “let’s make it happen” vibe that makes her both a creative and logistical powerhouse. Together, Flor and Steph are electric.

The final images capture their dynamic — fearless and approachable, edgy yet authentic. Whether they’re walking through an urban backdrop or leaning into a laugh during a candid moment, the photos reflect exactly what Raygun stands for:  a brand that’s confident, collaborative, and never afraid to take up space. This shoot is a testament to the energy and creativity that define Miami creative agencies and the vibrant community of Miami entrepreneurs.

I absolutely loved this shoot. It wasn’t just about taking their photos for their website & personal branding visuals — it was about capturing the creative energy that makes Flor & Steph, and Raygun Agency, so magnetic. Every shot reflects their bold vision, collaborative spirit, and deep-rooted connection to Miami’s creative pulse. It was a privilege to document their story and bring their brand to life through these images and I loved absolutely every minute about working on this project with them.
